Zip Code Lookup Template [Excel]
This Excel template makes getting location information from zip codes simple. Perfect for when you have lists of customer or user zip codes and need to find additional information like their city, county, or state. Simply enter one or more zip codes into the template, built-in formulas in the worksheet will automatically populate the city, county, and state associated with that zip code. If you have a longer list of zip codes (up to 10,000) copy the list and paste into this zip code lookup column. Each zip codes city, county, and state will populate automatically for the whole list. Next head over to the "Totals and Percentages" tab, refresh the tables with a click of a button and you'll see how many zip codes you have in your list along with the the totals and percentages for city, county, and state. How many customers are from out of state? How many customers are from city A and city B? With this easy to use zip code lookup Excel template you'll have answers in just a few mouse clicks.
This download comes with a single Excel file (format .xlsx), loaded with USPS's 2023 zip code database, along with some simple instructions built in to the workbook to help you enter your zip codes manually or from an existing list and analyze the results. You can download the most current US zip code database from Geonames, www.geonames.org
